The BRICS Trade Promotion and Education Technology Association operates under the framework of the BRICS Business Council, with secretariats established in each of the five BRICS countries. The Secretariat of the Association (China) is the sole representative office established in China.
The Chinese Secretariat fully implements the initiatives proposed by President Xi Jinping, including the "Support for Africa’s Industrialization Initiative," the "China-Africa Agricultural Modernization Program," and the "China-Africa Talent Training Cooperation Program." It is dedicated to cooperating with BRICS countries in service trade, enhancing the implementation of the "BRICS Countries Service Trade Cooperation Framework," and advancing the execution of the "BRICS Countries Service Trade Cooperation Roadmap."
The Secretariat also works on fulfilling the "Agreement between the Government of the People’s Republic of China and the Government of the Republic of South Africa on Cooperation in the Field of Higher Education and Training." It promotes the internationalization of China-Africa vocational education and the integration of industry and education, supports Africa’s industrialization process, improves the skill levels and employability of African youth, and aids the implementation of the "African Continental Education Strategy" and the "Belt and Road Initiative" in vocational education.
Furthermore, it fosters China-Africa vocational education cooperation, provides international vocational skills training, leads the development of international vocational education courses and standards, organizes international vocational skills competitions, international trade events, and international exhibitions. The organization strengthens the international vocational education and trade partnership within BRICS, jointly creating new development opportunities.
